Thursday Happenings.

Happy Anniversary Donna. & Sam..

Well I guess you all know now that today is Our 32nd anniversary, Wow where did the time go. It must be true time flies when your having fun. Always wished I could say” There I was, sitting on a bar stool minding my own business, when in she came, and swept me away”. Didn’t happen that way Donna was working at a restaurant in Dellwood where I was a Police Officer, we would eat there quite a bit, one of her co-workers had a daughter who played on a girls baseball team I was coaching and she is the one who suggested I ask Donna out. I never thought she would be interested in me, I was divorced, didn’t make a lot of money as a cop and I didn’t consider myself an attractive man. Donna was young Blond and Beautiful, I just figured she would say no. Well she didn’t and on May 19th 1979 we were married.

By the way she is still Blond & Beautiful, 2 out of 3 is still good odds. Love Ya my Dear…

How is Rigg’s taking the attention we are giving Lucky the cat, Whenever I come back in from my visits, with Lucky, Rigg’s rushes over and switches his nose into high gear and gives me a good smelling, then he insists on playtime.

  8. What a great photo of you two "youngsters"!..See, love is grand the second time around too...Just ask McGuyver..I'm his "second time around"...Make sure you and Donna get some alone time...a little cocktail hour over one of your great pizzas....like Lady and The Tramp with the spaghetti plate (no offense Sam..you are NOT a tramp).

  14. You know, I really did think about you guys when I went thru the Bryan street intersection on I 70. I kind of looked off over the hill to the South and said to myself, wonder what Sam's doing down there?

But it was 5:30 and right at supper time, and I didn't know if you had the kids, or Donna was off to the restaurant and I had another hundred miles to make, so I was resigned to maybe another time. When I went over 370 the traffic was stopped on the interchange going North onto the new highway, so I quickly opted to head on East on I 70 and take my chances. And it was stopped on 270 as well, and that was North of the 370 where it ties back in, so I would have been nailed either way. Ya gotta love getting thru St Louis.........

    Happy Anniversary!!!
