TGIF

Well another cold morning in the 20's, We had our coffee and then Donna was off to the truck company  and then to the restaurant. At 08:30AM my son Andy and I took little miss Sadie-Mae to the Vets office, she is being spayed today. They said we can pick her up at 04:30PM this afternoon, she will probably sleep the night away like Rigg's did the day of his procedure. The tough part with Sadie will be when she wakes up and has all that energy back ,we will have to keep her in Andy's room away from Rigg's for a few days as she is so rambunctious I don't want her to hurt herself, she literally springs off the ground and plays so hard, that I think she will need a couple days confinement before we let her have her way.

I went out to Warrenton and picked up Adam for the weekend, I told him to bring snow boots, extra snow pants and socks and that we might go try to find some Eagles and sled this weekend.

Not much else going on Adam and I stopped at Famous Brand shoe store on the way home and they were having a 40-70 per sent off sale, he got two pairs of school shoes for $25 and Grandpa got a pair of Minnetonka Mocassins for $29. Thought it was a good deal for what you would pay for a good pair of shoes we got 3 pairs.

Hope the rest of the country gets some warmer weather, Don't know how much more of this Global Warming we can stand.

Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.

  4. Looking ahead, we are scheduled for a NOMADS project in Fayette, MO starting April 23 leaving May 13. We will probably be seeing our friends in MOntgomery Cit after the project. I see M.City is only about 55 miles from y'all. Maybe we can meet? Again, just looking ahead.

Now that is if you are done with all that snow by MAY!!!!

  5. Good luck to Sadie. I hope you are able to keep her calm. That's where we had a problem with Whiskey last fall. We thought we were keeping her calm and lifting her up and down from things but she still managed to get a hernia by opening up the stitches inside, and she was 14 1/2 at the time.

Hope everything goes well. Enjoy the weekend.

  8. Ohhh LOVE them Minnetonkas! I have the clogs too, and they are wonderful, I wear them all the time. $29 is a great price to pay. There is a little shop up the road from us that sells them, and nothing under $50 as far as I can tell.

We wear mocs all the time when in and out of the rig, easy to slip on and off at the door, and Steve even drives in them.
