Beautiful Spring.

We are the midst of a really great stretch of sunny and warm weather with temperatures in the high 70’s and low 80’s. Today (25th) was the day we originally had planned to hook up and leave for New Jersey. Now that the trip is postponed I will have more time to catch up with stuff to do with the fiver. I need to unload some clothes and then repack it for whenever our next trip is. Also the propane tanks need to be refilled, the water system (city and pump) have to be filled and pressure checked to make sure there are no leaks and the pump is working. Also the fridge will needed to be started and checked for operation.
Here is a picture of Grand Meghen waiting for her turn in the ring.

Also Grandson Adam at his HS track meet, he is 14 now but we don’t get to see him very often.

We had subs the other night and Donna got a tuna sub. I right away thought of Bayfield Al sharing his with Pheebs. Poor Riggs didn’t get any.
Donna is still not doing well and I want her to see if there is something else that can be done to help her with her breathing, she cannot do hardly any walking right now. I am her care giver and make sure she had her coffee, water or get whatever else she needs.
Went to my final eye doctor checkup last week and she said everything is looking excellent. I am so happy with my new perfect vision, wish I could have my ears and feet done over like that. I ordered a pair of Oakley polarized sunglasses on Facebook at a ridiculous low price. I will be set for summer then.
That’s about it for today, be safe everyone. Sam & Donna.

Not good news.

As a lot of you know we have been looking forward to going to New Jersey for May 2nd and my Son Tim’s wedding.we had planned to spend about a month at his ranch and then head north with a stop in Pa. and then explore New York state.

Like all good things, I learned a long time ago never get your hopes to high. Donna’s breathing condition has gotten significantly worse, there are times she can barely make it from the bedroom to the kitchen, Our trip out east had been postponed for now unless there is a big improvement in her health.

She wanted me to go without her, But I will not leave her side while she is this ill. I ask that all friends and relatives include her in their prayers and we are hoping the doctors will find a way to improve her health.

ON the 21st I will have my last checkup on my eyes, I am really happy with my restored vision, just riding in the truck now is a pleasure.

Another good Report.

Had a 09:45AM appointment at the eye surgeons to day, He said I am doing fantastic,On checking I now have 20/20 vision in both eyes. I won’t have to wear glasses anymore, I asked what I had to do to have the “must wear corrective lens” restriction removed from my drivers license. He filled out a form from the State and he said stop at the license office on the way home. I did that and they removed the restriction, but I had to pay to renew my license.I got a new picture taken and sure enough on the new license where it say restrictions it says None. Now sometime before our trip out East I will treat myself to a pair of Decent Polarized sunglasses,

For those who don’t know today it also my Birthday, yes I along with several other Blog celebrities are April Fools Babies.

Going to celebrate with my pretty bride with a pizza supper, after all it is Friday.

Now if they could only find some surgical breakthrough that would restore my hearing. But alas I think jet engines of my youth have robbed me of that.
