TGIF

Wow can't believe I am getting such a late start on my Friday post, actually Friday was a beautiful sunny day and I didn't really have a lot going until 02:00PM, the temperature got up to about 34 degrees, not much snow melting but it is supposed to be warmer Sat-Sun. Donna was off to the truck company and then the restaurant, I went out to Warrenton MO. to pick up Adam when he got home from school at 03:00PM, his Mom asked if I could stop and buy him a couple pairs of jeans as he is growing out of his school jeans and Target is having a sale, and she didn't have enough money left for them. So on the way home we stopped at Target, and then since it's in the same plaza we went next door to Shop & Save. for a couple things kid's can't do without, like milk, and donuts for breakfast.

Then by this time it was getting close to 05:00PM and Chris and Nicole arrived right after we walked in the door. I did have to spread some salt at the end of our driveway where the last 20 feet had water run onto it and froze. It was like a skating rink.

The kid's went through two pizza's like yesterday's news. Are they ever not hungry, God love em.

Hopefully if the sun is like it was today, Saturday will be Alder Tag, or Eagle Day and the kid's and I will go out in search of Bald Eagles.

That's about is for this late post as it is 02:30Am and actually Saturday, maybe some pictures tomorrow if the eagles will pose.

Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.

  1. Alder Tag! Please write more about that. Here at Needles we are close to the BNSF line, and once our I-40 speed was 75 mph, and we were not gaining on that train very much until he slowed for the bridge/river crossing.

  4. I've been reading in our old local newspaper from Cumberland County, NJ (way south in NJ) that Bald Eagles are on the increase. Is that the same where you are?
