Thursday Happenings.

Was up at the usual 04:30AM and had coffee with my bride.

Just got word from my Grandaughter Allie in New Jersey that she has a horse now.

                         Alli’s new buddy Dude.

                         Dude & Alli.

Now I have Grand dogs and a Grand stallion or is he a Gelding.

Donna always wanted a horse but we never had room to keep one and the cost of boarding and feeding and taking care of it was out of sights when we were younger.

Don’t know anything about Dude other than he has a pretty face and diamond on it.

Today Nicky and I went to Wal Mart and she got a new bathing suit, with neat peace signs on it. She is in to the peace signs and stuff from the sixties, I told her when I was flying a lot of guys put peace signs on their flight helmets, but that didn’t last long and they were told to get them off.

Tonight, Samantha said she would cook up a batch of taco’s for supper, boy the kitchen smells good. Two more hard rolls bit the dust at lunch, I just love a sandwich on those babies.

The rain we were supposed to get this morning never came it was cloudy for about an hour and then the sun came up and it started back up toward 100 again.

The back acre looks like the dessert brown grass and cracked earth. Won’t have any cutting to worry about for awhile now , we will need several good rains to get it started again.

Thinking about another couple days at the Lake next week, can’t go this weekend as Rigg’s has an appointment at the Vet Saturday to have a lump on his chest checked out.

That’s about it for today here at the Ranch, Be safe out there. Sam & Donna……..
