Tuesday Thoughts.

It’s Christmas Eve day, Donna ran to the store to pick up everything she needs for tomorrow’s feast. She has to work tonight so I will spend the evening with the pups.

                             Looks like Sam.

Sam has his Lionel from when he was a kid, A Lackawanna Train Master with the work train set. It still looks like new and works perfectly, Lionel sure knew how to make em. 60 years is good for a toy even if you only used them at Christmas time.

We didn’t set up the train this year since we don’t get many visitor’s and Donna is still working the restaurant.

Probably going to order a pizza tonight since I will be eating alone. The anticipation of the Lasagna for tomorrow will keep me going. I’ll post a picture on Thursday.

Sure hope the Holidays are finding all our friends well. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna…

  1. Ah, lasagna. Len's been asking for lasagna. I got the ingredients and will make it later in the week. Tomorrow going to daughters in MD for dinner. Just too lazy to make today.

From our home to yours - Merry Christmas and best of everything in the new year.

  2. I'm doing a traditional ham tomorrow but Jim really wants lasagna put on a menu in the not too distant future. We used to have a small train that ran through my Christmas village under the tree.

  3. I thought about you when I was filling up the Jeep this morning..... It was under a half a tank, and I thought oh,oh, Sam wouldn't approve if I let this get any farther empty...... LOL

  4. I actually made lasagna in the crock pot a few nights ago..I was very leery of how it would turn out..Den hates ricotta so I made it without. When it was done, I scooped it out and put it in a clay pan, topped it with more slices of moz cheese and let it sit until we were ready to eat...warmed it up in a 300 degree oven for 20 minutes...FABULOSO!

  5. Great minds, Sam. We're having a pizza tonight, too. I'm really kind of bummed about the fact that the garbage won't be picked up tomorrow, so I can't put the cans out tonight. Oh well, I'll just have to adjust my internal calendar for that one. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
