Camp Bell NY.

After leaving Scranton on Friday morning, we drove north into the state of New York, about 90 miles from Binghamton is the towns of Corning, and Painted Post. The Camp Bell Campground is just outside Corning on Rt 415. It is a clean well kept place with plenty of activities, it’s focus is family camping and they have a huge playground and a heated pool, something that is welcome since the temperatures drop into the 50’s at night but are in the 80s during the day. Sat Sam went swimming all afternoon and got to watch the barrel roll competition in the pool. Donna headed out in the truck and did some sightseeing.

We decided to stay another day so Sam could get another day in the pool, it is supposed to be90 degrees today, Then Monday morning we will head north to Niagara Falls NY where we have reservations at the Niagara Falls KOA. We are looking forward to seeing this wonder since Donna has never been here and Sam was here as a young child. Donna ran into town for a haircut I am just relaxing before going to the pool.

Hope all is well with all our friends out there be safe. Sam & Donna……………….

  1. I like that part of NY, partly because once I reach Binghamton I'm not far from the Hudson Valley! I saw Niagara Falls years ago and was totally amazed by it. I'm looking forward to hearing about your visit and seeing some photos.
