Beautiful Spring.

We are the midst of a really great stretch of sunny and warm weather with temperatures in the high 70’s and low 80’s. Today (25th) was the day we originally had planned to hook up and leave for New Jersey. Now that the trip is postponed I will have more time to catch up with stuff to do with the fiver. I need to unload some clothes and then repack it for whenever our next trip is. Also the propane tanks need to be refilled, the water system (city and pump) have to be filled and pressure checked to make sure there are no leaks and the pump is working. Also the fridge will needed to be started and checked for operation.
Here is a picture of Grand Meghen waiting for her turn in the ring.

Also Grandson Adam at his HS track meet, he is 14 now but we don’t get to see him very often.

We had subs the other night and Donna got a tuna sub. I right away thought of Bayfield Al sharing his with Pheebs. Poor Riggs didn’t get any.
Donna is still not doing well and I want her to see if there is something else that can be done to help her with her breathing, she cannot do hardly any walking right now. I am her care giver and make sure she had her coffee, water or get whatever else she needs.
Went to my final eye doctor checkup last week and she said everything is looking excellent. I am so happy with my new perfect vision, wish I could have my ears and feet done over like that. I ordered a pair of Oakley polarized sunglasses on Facebook at a ridiculous low price. I will be set for summer then.
That’s about it for today, be safe everyone. Sam & Donna.

  1. Great news about your eyes, bad news about sweet Donna. Tell her to hang in there. Maybe time for another opinion? Is she being stubborn? Tell me we insist she get better.

  2. I was sure hoping for better news for Donna. Give her a hug from me. And you deserve a hug also for being such a wonderful loving caregiver.

  3. It seems that there is always something that needs to be done with an RV but I would rather have that than a house. We need new tires for Sherman, that will set us back a bit.

Glad you are having good weather, we were until we looked at the forecast for tomorrow and they are calling for 6"-12" of snow so now we are looking at another possible route in order to miss the snow.

Glad you eyes are doing well, I wish Donna was doing as well, we are thinking of you both.

  5. I feel so bad for Donna and hope she finds some kind of relief for breathing problems. It's great that you are the caregiver and really "care" so much.
