Was up just after Donna left for work at 05:30AM, I was awake while she had her coffee and got ready for work but I just laid on the bed next to Rigg’s and both of of just relaxed and let Mom get started. I always like to be up and moving while Nicole gets ready for school in case I have to take her, or just to make sure I tell her to have a good day at school and to say Love Ya. before she leaves, I always want my Grandkids to hear that before they leave.
Today was another cooler spring day sunny but it never got above 59 degrees. I decided I would put the steps on my truck that I bought to replace the rails that rusted out, these babies are polished aluminum alloy and aren’t going to rust in my lifetime. It took about 45 minutes, but it sure amazes me how much slower I am getting back up after working on my back under the truck, that ten years ago., where does your youth go. My son Andy was going to do it and then chickened out when he found out you had to drill holes in the frame. He said he doesn’t drill holes in my good truck.
Anyway they turned out just fine and I am happy with the way they look.
I really never use them but Donna liked the old ones so they are for when she rides in it.
Starting tomorrow it is supposed to be sunny and warmer maybe hitting the 80’s by the weekend.Haven’t heard yet whether Adam is coming over yet or not, his Mom was in the hospital with an infection in her arm. so he was staying with his other Grandma.
That’s about it from the Weeb Ranch for today, I hope everyone is having a fine day and I will leave you with this picture of Sadie after a hard day of playing with Rigg’s.
Safe right next to Grandpa’s chair.
Be safe out there. Sam & Donna…

I use the stairs to get into the cab of my coach, don't know how you manage not to use them.
ReplyDeleteI have to decide if I want to learn how to do some of this mechanical stuff or just pay others to do it for me. I guess I should have helped more or watched when my husband was doing repairs.
Sadie looks pretty comfy and content in her little bed.

Now that is a great picture of Sadie. I'm sure that's the way she was as a fetus. I think about that when I see Gingee in a similar position. A little weird way to think about them but so it is.
