Thursday Happenings.

Was up at 04:30AM with my bride for coffee and then she was off to the truck company .

At 06:30AM I took Rigg’s over to the Vet and dropped him off .

Then it was just wait and wait for the call from the Vet. about 01:00PM she called and said Rigg’s was doing fine and sleeping and that they removed the tumor completely. We went over at 03:45PM to pick him up and bring him home, He has to take it easy for 10 days, no running or swimming. The Vet will call as soon as the biopsy is done on the tumor.

So still a bit of a waiting game, but we are praying for good news. Here’s his picture right after he got home he even looks tired out from his ordeal.

                       Rigg’s after his surgery.

Right after I took the picture he laid down next to his Dad’s chair and fell right to sleep.

Looks like all is well at least for today, the weather cooled some and it was only 95 this afternoon with a really short shower that barely wet the driveway.

That’s about it for today, Everyone have a great day, and be safe out there. Sam & Donna…

  1. Ah poor guy. Doesn't it just break your heart when something is wrong with them and they just don't understand. I always wish for 10 seconds they could talk to me and understand what I want to tell them. Hope all is well with the results. Such a worry.

  4. He looks as if the anesthesia hasn't quite worn off, I'm sure he will be much different in the morning... Fingers crossed that he get a clean bill of health....

  5. Wasn't aware Rigg's was having a tumor removed but glad to see he is doing well. Always very scary stuff when our best Pals are in situations like that. All the best to Riggins The Wonderdog from the Bayfield Bunch:))

  6. Hopefully, like Jack, the removal of the tumor is the extent of Riggs' ordeal. Jacks was right at his "knee" and intertwined with nerves, etc. and it grew big fast. I was fortunate to have a good surgeon, he was "drunk" for the day (Jack, not the surgeon), and the biopsy was clear. I wish the same for Riggs.

    Keep us posted.

  9. Glad that part of the ordeal is over. How on earth are you going to keep him quiet for 10 days. Sounds like mission impossible to me.

Will be waiting anxiously with you for the results.

    Blessings
