Tuesday Thoughts.

Up at 04:30AM and had coffee with my Bride, then she was off to the truck company. Got about another hour nap with Rigg’s and then I was off to the Barber shop when it opened to have a haircut and a beard trim. No Bay Rum today. How many remember the commercial, Shave & and Haircut, Bay Rum.

It was 85 here at the Ranch at 05:00AM and 100 at 11:00AM. Desperate times demand desperate measures so I gathered up Adam & Nicole and headed to the Lake to spend the day at the the pool. When we got back home at 05:00PM it was 106, now they are predicting the rest of the week like this with a chance of a thunderstorm Thursday.

You won’t hear me complain about hot weather though. You don’t have to plow it. I can only hope we are somewhere where it doesn’t snow this winter for at least part of the time. Can’t wait for Donna to retire.

Not much going on Andy is taking Adam for his football physical tonight, then he is all set to start practice. He went with Andy last night and bought the rest of his equipment.

After spending the day in the pool Grandpa is whipped, I am going to just sit and have a couple High Lifes and relax.

Hope everyone is having a great week. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna..

  1. Our 12 year old grandson, Peyton, goes to football practice, too. That has to be brutal in this heat! Had bad storms and winds this AM, but no rain here..It all went North of us, all we got was bad wind with NO rain!

  2. We had rain all day here thankfully it cleared the air and cooled things off a bit. The flower beds sure needed it. I also hope you are somewhere this winter where there is no snow.

  3. Wow, that's hot. I don't remember the Bay Rum on the end of that commercial.

  4. I remember, I remember. It's so beautiful up here weather wise that the thought of going back to the heat is rather depressing. But the bugs are horrendous - lots of mosquitoes and other flying things that I hate.

  5. I am proud to report that it was hotter in ST Louis today than here in the desert I think I saw 103 somewhere over by Phoenix and it was about 101 out here in the very East Valley..... So come on out to the desert and cool off............. on selected days and your mileage may vary.....

  6. Wow, that's just too darn hot. I think going to the pool was a wise choice.
