Thursday Happenings.

Boy it seems like this week is flying by, At 09:00AM , Donna & I took our boy Rigg’s to the Vet for his annual checkup, plus he has a real small lump on his upper right leg. He got a complete physical, and the Vet said he is doing fine, only to get him more exercise to help control his weight, he was 105 lbs,  about the same as last year even with smaller food intake. They then did a biopsy on the lump and it was all fatty substance nothing else. so the Vet said wait and see if it grows and if so we will have to have it removed. Nothing to worry about at this point, this is his second tumor, as we had one in his stomach area cut out 2 years ago. Besides that he is in good overall health and still full of steam and vigor. He is pretty good at the Vet and likes her, not like the one shepherd I had that had to be carried in kicking and screaming.
It is another gorgeous sunny and mild day here at the Ranch, I could live with weather like this year round, it is 87 ,but not real humid.Good swimming weather.
Donna is working the restaurant tonight and Rigg’s and I will be in charge of Homeland Security. along with little sis Sadie.
My Son Sam Jr. who’s office is right next to the WTC site in New York City. Sent a picture from his office window of the new WTC reflected in another building.

  1. Our lab Maggie had so many of those fatty lumps removed. We left them alone until they either got too big or they were located somewhere that made her uncomfortable. Labs are notorious for those fatty lumps. And I know what you mean about trying to get them to loose weight. It's a huge fight, isn't it.

  3. Glad to hear that Riggs came through his checkup with flying colours. Whiskey, didn't like going to the vet's, I think it stressed her out more to be there than for what might have been wrong. She also had some of those fat lumps but our vet had said to just leave them as they weren't hurting/bothering her. Give Riggs and Sadie a pet for us!
