Saturday Notes.

Poor Charlie in trouble again...police showed up this morning and told Samantha that neighbors are complaining about the barking and that this was a warning next time we get a ticket and a fine. Of course Riggs was out when he showed up in driveway and was barking at him. Of course he pointed out him barking...as Samantha told him of course he is barking he's barking at someone in our driveway that he doesn't know...before then Charlie had been out and I had brought him in because of his barking. There is a stray cat that roams the neighbor hood and loves to incite the dogs, he/she will sit just outside of their range and just look at them. Just wish people would have come to us before calling the police. We don’t want to bother people. Guess this really means we are no longer country here.

His bark collar doesn’t seem to be working.

My Son Tim and his girlfriend Bonnie can be so proud of those girls, Meghen and her sister Katie, Grandpa and Grandma sure are.
It was a gorgeous day here at the Ranch, sunny and 60’s degrees, Donna and I did some running in her new car, two stores, and then she tricked me and stopped at Great Clips to get me a hair cut and a beard trim, been about 6 mos. since the last one. even the reindeer didn’t recognize me.

  2. Cats know when they can get away with intimidating dogs and they keep doing it.
After 6 months of hair growth and then a hair cut we're willing to bet you that Donna hardly recognized you.
    Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  3. I've always wondered what makes some dogs bark incessantly, while others rarely bark. You can understand it if they are bored and alone, but your dogs get lots of attention and have each other to be amused by, so they shouldn't be bored. Too bad about the bark collar.

So I've been wondering how Donna likes her new car. What a trick - take you for a ride and then to the clip joint! That's how my parents got me into the hospital to get my tonsils out at age 5.

  4. Poor Charlie for sure! I guess the no bark collar isn't working as good as it should be.

Looking good there Sam! I am pretty sure those reindeer will recognize you by Christmas! Lol :-)

  5. Do you ever watch Cesar Milan, the Dog Whisperer?? He also has books out..I really do think he has the right idea..Hey, maybe you could get him to come to your house and help out with Charlie!! If not..have Donna go online and order a paperback book from Amazon.. Likin' the new "do"...Even the Elves won't know you!

  6. Hmmm Steveio did the same thing to Duke! Took him for McDonalds' French Fries and he had a "doggie vasectomy" (Steve's words for neutering) Poor Duke.

As for Charlie, well, you could threaten him with a fly swatter like we have done with our dogs, and now all we have to do is lift it up and show them, and they stop barking! Works for us... might try it?
