Monday Meanderings.

Was up early with my bride she decided she was feeling well enough to go into the truck company.I can only hope because I knew no amount of persuasion was going to get her to stay home another day. I guess 2 1/2 days of bed rest was her limit. No restaurant until Wednesday so maybe she will be more rested and the medicine will have done it’s job.

I am now sitting here trying to decide what to make for supper, I have 2 lbs. of ground beef I need to cook so I will make Sloppy Joes probably with a side of Mac & Cheese. Any left overs don’t last long as the kid’s will devour them for lunches. Boy that was easy the big decision of the day made.

Waiting for Nicole to get home from school, It is sunny and 49 degrees, not bad for a winter day.Makes me wonder when winter will finally hit here.

No plans to go out anywhere, just a stay at home day for me.

That’s about  it for today. Hope everyone is enjoying a good week, Be safe out there. Sam & Donna..

  1. Think I could handle a few of those Sloppy Joe's. Hope she's got that bug kicked once and for all.

  2. Thank you for deciding on my supper tonight. I'll fix mac & cheese from my mom's old recipe, and maybe add a can of tuna for extra protein. Back in the olden days we had more Friday dinners than I care to remember of Mac, cheese & tuna. I still make it "from scratch".

  3. Sure glad Donna is feeling better. Hope she continues to improve. We're fixing chicken stir fry tonight for dinner at our house.

  4. Hope Donna doesn't overdo. Sounds like a tasty treat for supper. I still like that old comfort food.

  5. I like sloppy Joe's, but I can't stand tuna. :)

  6. Glad Donna is feeling better..hope shes kicked this once and for all!

  7. Yup, some of my most major decisions are what to cook for dinner. Ah = retirement.

Glad Donna in on the mend.

  8. Think you should duct tape her to a chair yet...
