We were up at 07:00AM DST. Had our coffee, then Donna started our taxes for the year. Glad she is the accountant in the family.
Around Noon I had to take Adam back home to Warrenton Mo. He is already hoping for a good weekend next week. He enjoys his friends here and running with his Grandpa.
Nick s watching Nicolodeum on TV, Nick for Nick.It is mild today but cloudy and it looks like rain will be here sometime this afternoon, the next two day say sunny and in the upper 70’s so it will be short sleeve weather for sure.
Adam has the XBOX set up to play his games with friends he wears a headset and they play from their houses together. Imagine that technology for kids. We were lucky to communicate after dark with a flashlight to a neighbor friend.

I remember how we found out if our neighbor friends could come out and play..we stood in front of their house and called their name till they came to the door..Thus, calling on our neighbors..I didn't make this up, that's how we did it back in Elgin, IL..circa 1955..

ReplyDeleteTaxes are waiting for us when we get back home. I often wonder if we had it better than kids today with all the gadgets....but, then.....wow, it sure would have been fun!
