Was up early with my bride for coffee, and then she was off to the truck company and then the restaurant. Since we had the whole day to bum together, Adam & I started at the Wal Mart where he needed to buy minutes for his cell phone.
Then we headed down to Kirkwood MO. to see if we would have any luck watching for some trains. We stopped at the Kirkwood Depot. which originally was the Mo.Pacific Depot. Now Amtrak stops 4 times a day on it’s trips from St Louis to Kansas City and back. It is wonderfully maintained and staffed by volunteers mostly retired railroaders and their wives.

We watched several trains before we headed back to Dardenne Prairie.
The End.
Now were waiting for Nick to get home from school, since she missed the trip to Kirkwood, I told her the three of us would go some place fun on Saturday, It’s tough being the greatest Grandpa in the world, but I’m trying.
Hope everyone has a fine weekend. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna..
Really enjoyed your train station pictures. My husband loves trains - big and little. We ride as many steam trains as we can while we travel and he belongs to a model railroad club that has modules that they set up at shows and at the fire hall at Christmas.
