Was up early and had my coffee with my bride, Then she was off to the truck company, and Rigg’s and I got a nap.
Finally after several years I made contact with my Son Tim in New Jersey, he is really into cowboying and sent me a couple pictures.
Anyone for a Bull Ride.
Looks like he is enjoying himself but I prefer the comfort of my pickup. But his love of horses has been passed on to his Daughter Allie. Grandpa is glad of that. Donna always liked horse riding.
It’s been a pretty slow news day in the metropolis of Dardenne Prairie only time I left the house was to take the dumper to the end of the driveway, Tomorrow is pickup day. After all that excitement was over I just sat around and at 04:00PM I decided, to make an executive order to move happy hour up one hour and I opened a High Life to wash down my afternoon pills. Sometimes is does pay to be sick.
Have you ever noticed every single prescription has a tag on it that says, Do not take with alcohol. You would have thought that as big as the Brewing industry is they would have been able to stop that. I am living proof that it won’t hurt you, been washing my medicine down every day with a beer. No side effects, unless you kind a couple of really neat dreams every once in awhile.
Rigg’s is being good he is enjoying the warm spell and staying outside for long periods of time, came just long enough to get an hour nap and then went back out again. I just let him in so he could finish his bowl of food, he is running late on that.
Not much else going, so I will say See Ya tomorrow, everyone be safe out there. Sam & Donna…….
well you had a nice day!!!! good lookin cowboy you got there...
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good day. :) I'd love to sit down with you some day and talk, I bet I could learn a thing or three. :)

DeleteI rode a pig once and......the pig won! So no bull for me I'll leave that to the pros.
ReplyDeleteI have been known to wash down a couple Ibuprofen with a Rum and Coke, too..As long as I'm not driving anywhere, it's all good. (narcotic drugs..definitely a no no...) Spring and retirement are coming, Sam...and faster than you think!
ReplyDeleteYour son looks like a real cowboy in that pic, Sam, but what's a cowboy doing in New Jersey??
ReplyDeleteYou should do a TV commercial about washing down prescription drugs with a beer - that just might catch on.
