Thursday Happenings.

Was up at 04:30AM and had coffee with my bride. Then Donna was off to the truck company and then the restaurant.
I had my nap with Rigg’s and then blogged for awhile.
This afternoon I pulled the truck over to the rear of the fiver, and fired up the generator and then tried the A/C. I could hear the compressor come on but no fan. even with just the fan position on the thermostat. That means the motor is stuck just like two summers ago. I will have to get my son to go up and take the cover off the A/C and then spin the motor by hand when it free he can then oil the bearings and then we will put power to it and see if it runs. If it does, I will let it run on fan only for a couple hours to be sure the bearings are well oiled. Last time it was stuck it lasted two summers , so I am hoping this will be good for another two. We have a Dometic unit and I have heard it is a common problem. One thing I will say my last fiver had a Coleman and it was not only a colder unit but it was trouble free from 1993 until 2005 when we traded it and it was  still going strong.
WE finally have the final dates. Donna is offically retiring on may the 17th. we will leave for our trip south on Tues May 21,  Donna wanted the weekend to get stuff done and maybe work one more shift at the restaurant. Talk about anticipation. Look,

What Rigg’s & the girls and I expect to do on vacation, taken at Paul & Helen’s last year.
Paul says the pool is already in my temperature range ( over 75 degrees) and by the time we get there it should be warmer yet.Maybe the girls will even get in for a swim, The people girls, not the dog girls, they get in every chance they get no matter what the temperature of the water is. Paul says he has a wet suit top so he will join me for a swim and soak.
Rigg’s has a new Ducky to take with him if he takes it out of the fiver he will have to share. He looks sharp in his Navy Seal walking harness and I have a couple bandanna’s for him to wear and impress his lady friends.
That’s about it for today, sunny and in the 70’s in Dardenne Prairie. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna….
