Saturday Mumblings.

Another cold but sunny day here in Dardenne Prairie, the big question now around the Weeb Ranch, is how much snow will we get tonight. The National Weather Service is predicting up to 12 inches of new snow between 8PM Sat and noon Sunday. Makes no difference here, Andy is making a grocery run before it starts. Donna is working the restaurant to night. That leaves Rigg’s and I to guard the home front.

Maybe we’ll be lucky and it will go around us again, but who knows.  If we get hammered pretty good I will post pictures tomorrow, so all our Canadian friends that went south won’t get homesick. I’m pretty sure our little couple acres of heaven here gets more snow per year than a lot of areas of Canada.

Donna’s brother and all his family left yesterday to meet a cruise ship in Miami, They are celebrating their 50th year of marriage. Donna & I were invited to go but declined due to her health and financial reasons, plus she still hadn’t gotten her Passport. I ‘ve got to get her to go to the post office and take care of that. I hope all the Family on the cruise have a great time.

That’s about it for today, we wish all our friends well. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna…………….

  1. Just so you know you can get all the paperwork for the passport on line. I printed it off and sent it in the end of November and got it back before Christmas. Sure wish Donna felt better. Glad you're ready for the snow. I'm sure not.

  3. Hope mother nature takes it easy on use. We have an ice storm predicted here in NE PA for tomorrow and I am hoping it misses us. I'm with you in guarding the home front. As I just retired 12/31/13, I am in the process of getting ready to head to FL. For a month. But am awaiting work to be done on my RV. Be safe.

  4. Yup... looks like you are gonna get more snow than us... we are just gonna get the good ole blast of arctic air! Watch the Packer game tomorrow to see how cold it will really be here in Wisconsin!
