Was up at 04:30AM w9th my bride and had coffee, then Rigg’s and I had a nap. The sun was shining and it was 60 degrees at 10 AM so I went out and started putting water in the fresh water tank of the fiver. Then I pressure checked all the lines and checked for leaks at the fittings under the sink. and listened and made sure the pump shut off and then stayed off when the water was shut off. Got the toilet flushed out and added some freshener. Again checking for any leaks. Looks like the water system is fine. I then checked the propane tanks and had one tall full one one short full one and one tall half empty. Won’t need any before out trip since the only thing we will be using it for is running the fridge while we are on the road, Maybe a couple of meals. It will be warm enough not to worry about the furnace on this trip.
I had to jump start Andy’s Jeep and move it out of the way so when we leave I will be able to swing the trailer around. Then I had to make a trip to Walgreens for a couple prescriptions. My son Andy came home and said if I went for a can of gas for the tractor he would start on the grass. I went, But after about an hour he came in and said there were to many wet spots and he didn’t want to get stuck. I have to find a good cleaner for my new floor in the trailer, it reminds me of stone.
The yard almost looks like a sunflower patch with all the dandelions that have popped up this year.
Hope we can get that under control quickly, trouble is we have had so much water that the ground is soaked and it really needs to dry up so I can get the tractor in all the areas that need cutting.
Temperature is now up to 76 at 03:00PM we need a couple weeks like this looks like two more days of nice weather before the rain returns.
That’s about it for today. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna……
Sam we're hoping thar you won't be affected by the high water and flooding that the regions north of you are facing. Be Safe and Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt's about time.

DeleteEnjoy the nice cool weather, 101 here today in AZ!
ReplyDeleteDennis mowed the yard and tilled up the garden...YAHOO!!
ReplyDeleteRather than going out to buy floor cleaner the best thing to use is warm water and a bit of vinegar. Used it our ceramic floors when we had a house all the time. Got them clean, didn't ruin the floors, very good for the environment and it's cheap.

ReplyDeleteWow - that's a lot of dandelions in your yard! Looks like a field of wildflowers though.
