A great Saturday

We were up at the usual 04:30am, had a leisurely coffee, and then puttered around, about 09:30am we left in the truck for Troy MO. Where we met Jim & Dee Walters  Tumbleweed  who are fellow bloggers and have been full timing since Dec2009. It was sure glad to meet up with these great folks, they sure have a lot of experience in just 6 months, on the road to share with us, and also show us their new home, a 36 foot Cameo 5th wheel, a really sharp rig. I can only hope our enthusiasm level is as high as this couples. They truly seem to love their new life style. We chatted most of the morning away and then went to the J & D Diamond Diner in Troy, For lunch, Donna & Dee got pork loins and Jim & Sam got large burgers. Jims was a double that Sam said he probably could never have finished, Jim is obviously a graduate of the clean plate institute as I had to be when growing up. The food and service was good.

After lunch we went back to the trailer and had a piece of the cake Donna had baked to bring to the Walters, We then found out it would be Dee's Birthday tomorrow so she said now I have a homemade birthday cake, Happy Birthday Dee, I guess this is your first one on the road, we are glad Donna is a baking nut. After another chat and all the worlds problems were solved, We had to bid them goodbye and then head for home so Donna could go in for her shift at the restaurant. A truly great day and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting our new friends and hope we see them later again on the road.
Nothing else except waiting for tomorrow to go out to the Lake and retrieve the trailer, the kids said they are all having a ball and the grandkids are loving camping. Be safe out there, Sam & Donna.
