We were up at 06:00AM and had our morning coffee, we didn’t leave the campground at Perry Ga. until 09:00AM and then headed north on I-75.
This is what we saw most of the day.
Crossing the Tennessee River.
Nashville Skyline.
Rigg’s waiting for dad to finish getting fuel.
We drove a little over 300 miles and we decided to stop at the Clarksville RV Park in Clarksville TN. It is a Good Sam Park and really a clean and first rate park. The cost was $34 a night.
Our spot #8.
We will be leaving in the morning for the final leg of the trip home to the Weeb Ranch. We are just relaxing here and having a great night, warm weather and sunny skies.
Hope every one had a great weekend. Be safe out there.
Sam & Donna……..
Hey Sam might want to think twice about getting home to soon. Wet and cold here...
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good holiday. Wish it was longer, as I'm sure you do too!

You are definately in the land of green. The words 'Nashville Skyline' reminded me of my favorite Bob Dylan album by the same name...........
ReplyDeleteGlad you are having a good trip home!! You all stay safe!
ReplyDeleteDrive safe...always nice to come home...
ReplyDeleteRiggs is saying: "darn.. this vacation wasn't near long enough!!! i think you should turn around and go back-----"

WOW,,,$34.00... Holey TOLEDO!!!! When you get to full timing you won't be able to spend that kind of money on a RV park.... I would have to be hurting real bad before I spent that kind of money for a place to park for the night...
ReplyDeleteThese parks are pricing themselves right out of the market,,,,,and they wonder why people stay in Walmarts... I don't do walmarts, but there are lots of alternatives...
Too bad you didn't go down I-10 then up through Nashville, up to Paduka, KY and across. After taking that trip for 20 years, thats the best way I could find... Lots of neat scenery....I-75 is not my favorite ,,,I avoid it if at all possible....
Take your time, home will still be there,,,,
Mike is so right. $34 a night is okay for vacationers but never for fulltiming. We are in a city park campground and paying $15. Still more than I like. Tomorrow we head to a COE and pay $9.00. Now that's more like it.
ReplyDeleteI feel sort of sad that your vacation has come to an end so soon. You need to think about going to the Escapees Escapade in Sedalia, MO in Sept. Would love to catch up with you there.
Looks like a nice travel day and a good place to park at the end of the day.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels home.
Sorry your trip is about over...Time to plan the next one..maybe a long weekend for you and Donna closer to home...
