Was up at 04:30AM and had coffee with my pretty bride, then Rigg’s and I got our usual short nap after Mom left for the truck company.
Before I do anything else I want to WELCOME a new follower number 156, TAMMY FLETCHER her and her husband just started full timing and are work camping in Indiana. take a look at their blog it looks like they are having a great time and making friends quickly. Donna & I certainly hope you enjoy the adventures and misadventures we have here at the Weeb Ranch and on our way to full timing when Donna retires. Rigg’s keeps us hopping also.
When most of you will be reading this it will mark the 11th anniversary of the attack on the WTC in NYC on 9-11-2001. We must never forget the sacrifice's of those who gave their lives during this horrible event.
Miss Liberty watching over the carnage and reminding us all that no matter what we are the “Home of the Free, and the Brave’ and will never be intimidated by the threats of terrorist nations.
Another gorgeous day here at the ranch, sunny, temps in the low 80’s it just doesn’t get any better than this, we are counting down the days until the week is over and we head to the Escapee’s Rally in Sedalia Saturday morning.
Have it planned to have the groceries stocked on Thursday and then hitch up and turn the trailer to face out the driveway on Friday, that will let me get it in front of the garage door and run the air line out if any tires need air. Then we plan on setting the Sea and Anchor detail early and getting underway for Sedalia at 07:00AM on Sat morning.that should get us down to the fair grounds around 09:30AM.
Rigg’s is keeping an eye on my overnight flight bag that I usually pack for camping trips and I ill bring Donna’s up from downstairs tomorrow so she can pack it for the trip.
He knows when he sees the bags that we are going somewhere so he will watch us like a hawk to make sure he is included in the trip plans. I went to the store and got a bag of dog food to take with us.
That’s about it for today, Hope everyone is having a good day, be safe out there. Sam & Donna.
Funny how our pups secretly observe what we are doing. Mine always knew and couldn't contain themselves when they saw me collecting things to go. Can't tell you how many times I tripped over them (and now, Jack) because I wasn't getting away alone!
ReplyDeleteSad anniversary for our country.
We are at White Cloud Casino in KS near the KS/NE/MO border. We will head to Sedalia Saturday morning. Send an email with your site number or give me a call. (Hopefully you still have our number).
ReplyDeleteI have to confess, I looked at my numbers on my phone a few months ago and somehow your phone number looked real familiar. IT WAS MINE! I have no idea how I did that. See you in a few!
In answer to your comment on our blog, no Uncle Jr. doesn't have a computer...actually he and Jeanette are having some health issues lately...As for Sept 11th...I will NEVER forget that day...My son and I watched it all happen before our eyes..He just happened to be here visiting with me, and I was home alone. I was soooo glad he showed up when he did..I don't think I could have watched that horror alone.
ReplyDeleteWe must never forget 911 and keep in our hearts the brave souls who lost their lives that horrible day....

It's pretty evident that you are chomping at the bit to get going to the Rally this weekend - Riggs too from the sounds of it.
