Tuesday Thoughts.

Was up at 04:30AM for coffee with my bride, then Rigg’s and I got our after coffee nap. We lost power last night for about 4 hours, but it was back on when I got up this morning so I had power to make the coffee. I would have waited until 07:00AM and then went out and cranked up our generator so I could charge the batteries and make coffee. The campground pamphlet says no generators except in the boondock area, but if your power is off that sounds like boondocking to me and I would have left it run just long enough to put a charge in the coach batteries so the fridge stayed on.

After lunch today we met Ken & Angela over at the doggie park at Clover Dell Park which is about 10 minutes from the fairgrounds, Except for a brief fight between Rigg’s and Max they got along great from then on. Rigg’s had already met Annie so they were cool with each other.

                      Rigg’s taking a break.

They played ball and chase until all three were ready to drop it was a good workout for the three of them. When we got back Rigg’s crashed on the couch and Sam took Len to the tire dealer to pick up his truck.

Tonight we are going to have Happy Hour at the Traveling Weeb Ranch, remember anybody at the Rally that wants to stop by after 5PM at site Y4 is welcome. that should be fun.

Since today was kind of a doggie day here’s a couple more pics.

The Rally is really going strong and we are all enjoying ourselves. Hope everyone out there  is having a good week. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna…..

  1. We had a good time at the dog park and Max says he is sorry for starting a fight. It's just part of his short man syndrome.

  2. Dogs add such a great dimension to rving and camping. When I camped with a solo woman's group, many times there were more dogs than women, and they had such a great time, together. They actually seem to remember each other. Most of his friends camped, like he and Lizzie did, in Aframes. To this day, he gets excited if he sees one in a campground--well, the last time I camped I should say. Glad the pups had fun.
