Was up at 6:00Am and had coffee with my bride then Rigg’s and Sadie and I took a nap.
About 09:00AM my Navy buddy Barry and his wife Bonnie arrived on their way from Scranton to Branson to pick up the trailer they left here and we visited for most of the morning, it was sure great to see these guys again since our visit with them in Branson last year.
Barry & Sam hitching up the trailer.
Bonnie, Barry & Donna.
Barry & Sam.
Barry & Sam USS Independence ca1969. Look at the difference 40 years makes.
Barry even brought me a box of Pa style pizza from Scranton, what a pal.
Rigg’s totally enjoyed the visit with his new friends from Colorado he was on his best behavior and showed off with all his tricks. Got to get him back in shape for performing at the Rally next week.
All to quickly it was time to say See Ya later, and they were off on the way to Branson, they have a summer place there, and then they will be heading home to Colorado Springs Co.
Adam called and he came over this afternoon to spend the night with Grandpa. Donna is going to work the restaurant to night so it will be me and Adam and the pooches.
Today is a sunny and nice day but the temperature is only a little above 70 degrees, which as long as your in the sun feels just great. It is supposed to rise back into the 80’s in the next couple of days with sunny days forecasted for the next week.
Hope the weather holds out for the Rally. Nothing much else doing at the ranch just going to take it easy and enjoy my weekend with Adam.
Be safe out there. Sam & Donna……
Those are great "before and after" photos...lol. Time flies, doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteTake care,
Susan & Sam
I hope your weather cooperates for the Rally. Two years ago it rained and rained and we had mud and mud and more mud. Boy did the tow trucks make a lot of money that year.
ReplyDeleteGreat 'before and after' pics, Sam. Sure makes won wonder doesn't it?
ReplyDeleteSounds like a fun time to have Adam over for the evening. Do I smell PIZZA???
