Saturday Mumblings.

Was up at 06:00AM, it is still cloudy and rainy, yesterday it rained just about all day around the clock. with some really heavy rain and two tornado warnings in the afternoon, my next door neighbor had a very large tree fall in his front yard, good thing it was in the middle and didn’t hit the house or block the the street. This tree was probably 5 feet  in diameter and very tall.

My Navy buddy Barry and his wife Bonnie stopped on their way to Scranton Pa. Since Donna was working at the restaurant we went over there for some supper and then they continued on, Barry wanted to tough it out to Indiana and then stay the night there in the hopes of running out of the rain and maybe not having to drive in it Saturday. As usual I was rushed and forgot the camera so I will wait until next week for a couple pictures, when they stop on the way back to pick up their trailer that they left here.

Adam came over to spend the weekend last night he had his new Warrenton Warriors Football jersey to show us.

                               Adam’s new Jersey.

His game for today was canceled due to the storms predicted for the weekend.

Not much going on here with the weather being so wet, but it looks like on the weather radar, that Issac is moving north and east of us into Illinois, so maybe tomorrow will bring an improvement, although we surely do need the rain.

Donna has the restaurant tonight, and Adam and I will be making the weekly grocery run, I told him we could have pizza night tonight since he missed it last night.

That’s about it for today, everyone be safe out there. Sam & Donna……

  1. Keeping an eye on Isaac from a little further northeast here to see if it makes it's way over our way.

  3. Isaac arrived in the night, pulled up a piece of lawn and proceeded to stay all day...Now he says he will stay tonight and hand around tomorrow to watch us all checking our rain gauges...Can't wait till he leaves, although the rain is nice, it is too late to help the crops..

  4. That's the problem. You go weeks without rain and then when it does it just pours down and doesn't know when to stop.

Adam's new football jersey looks great!
