I'm hijacking the blog for a moment. Dont know if anyone has tried the pumpkin bars yet
but here's a St Louis favorite. As you all know every region has their specialities. St Louis'
two favorite are toasted ravioli and gooey butter cake. I'll leave the ravioli to the Italians, so
here's gooey butter recipe
1 box butter cake mix
1 stick margarine
Mix all together....pat flat into greased 13x9 pan.
1 Bx powdered sugar
8 oz cream cheese
Mix well. Pour on top of cake and bake 325 for 30-35 minutes.
