Got up to the second sunny morning in row except for the 29 degree temperature, it would have been like a nice summer morning.Wendy had a 09:00AM Doctor’s appointment So we were out early. and she got in and out in an hour, I make my every three month appointment for first thing in the morning and usually you don’t have to sit forever in the waiting room. They took her stitches out and told her everything still look’s fine, but decided to leave it in a cast for another week, they said just to be on the safe side, I know she was disappointed because that adds another week to my stay, but I told her if it makes the therapy part easier it is for the best. right now they still don’t want any weight at all on it and to keep it elevated when she is in the wheel chair, she is feeling better and spending more time each day working at her desk. After I brought her home I had to make the drug store and grocery run for the week. Then it was just sitting around until 03:30PM when Michelle’s Mom called and asked if I could take her to the eye Doctor because her husband was going to have drops put in his eyes and wouldn’t be able to drive his truck home. So I did that so she could drive him home.
Soon as I got back Michelle got home from school and came over to help put the Halloween decorations away.
Michelle helping with the decorations.
When all the Halloween stuff was put in the tubs, then the Thanksgiving Turkeys and wreaths for the windows were taken out and put up. What a great helper Michelle was.
Well that’s about it for today, hope everyone is having a fine day. Hey Rigg’s are you being a good boy, I know you are and I can’t wait to see ya and Mom & Adam & Andy Too. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.
Sorry to hear Wendy has to keep the cast on one more week but glad the doctors are being thorough.
ReplyDeleteWe will be going to the storage unit next week to get some of our Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations out. I am really in the mood to decorate and can't wait to get back into our motor home.
Glad you have Michelle to be a helper! Helpers are fun!
I am so sorry Wendy didn't get her cast off but it is better to be safe than sorry. That day will come!! We'll keep our fngers crossed and say a prayer. :-)
ReplyDeleteYep, its that time of the year. Time to put up the decorations. I love all the beautiful colors during this time of the year. Looks like Michelle is a great little helper.
Michelle is turning out to be a great little helper while you're there. Good for her!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Wendy is doing alright, but sorry to hear you will have to stay an extra week. For everything there is a reason, so God must have a plan for you being there that extra week. You are a good brother and I am sure Wendy loves you a lot.
ReplyDeleteToo bad about your sister's slower progress. I know you want to be back home with Riggs. You're a great brother! You take care. Looking forward to your next post.
