A nice sunny day for a change, and also better news, Wendy had her weekly Doctors appointment and they removed the cast and put a black boot on her foot, they are going to get some kind of machine for here at the house to help with therapy and stimulate bone fusion. But the good news is they are hoping to have her up and walking about by December 15th, which means if I can get the arrangements made for public transportation for her Therapy and Doctors appointments by that date, I will be home before Christmas, which I think is a good thing for all of us especially Adam.
I got a call from Walgreens that my prescriptions are ready so I will be going to pick them up shortly, so just about everything is coming together, for today, I will make a stop after the drug store at the grocery store and that will be it for errands today.
I have already decided tonight will be a quick and easy meal, so spaghetti and red sauce it will be, that’s about as quick as it gets around here.
My son Andy called and said Rigg’s and Sadie are getting along great, just like a brother & sister should, I wonder if he’s sharing his rug at night.
That’s about it for today, it’s a short news day. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.
Yea!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for your return home in time for Xmas!!! Wendy should be much improved by then!!
ReplyDeleteGreat on the prescriptions. Great on the cast removal. Great on most likely getting home by Christman and great that Riggs and Sadie are hitting it off! The stars must be perfectly aligned! Take care...
ReplyDeleteSounds good, Sam. Hope things continue to progress nicely.
ReplyDeleteWell it would have been a bummer if you didn't get home by Christmas, so this is really positive news! Happy veterans day tomorrow!

Just dropping in to check on how you and Wendy are. So glad Wendy's condition is improving and things are progressing well.
ReplyDeleteGood news all around. We went out to eat this evening with Suzanne (Jamie's girlfriend) and Opal. Our granddaughter and their little one. We got lots of kisses and hugs from her. We will definitely miss her when we leave to sell Christmas trees.
