911 we will never forget.

Today I am dedicating my blog to Vernon Cherry, he is the brother of Jim Cherry a squadron mate and fellow Fleet Angel from my HC-2 days in the Navy,

Vernon and all the rest of his fellow members of Hook & Ladder Company 118 from the FDNY Middaugh Station were all killed in fighting the fires and trying to rescue victims of the Word Trade Center incident .

Things are looking up here at the Weeb Ranch, Donna is getting around a lot better since her boot was removed and is walking around  a lot more around here. The fur babies all are doing good, the weather is down out of the 90’s and more tolerable. Not much else going on. Hope all or friends are doing well, Be safe out there ,Sam & Donna….

  1. Nice tribute, Sam! Glad to hear that Donna is improving minus the loathsome boot!

  2. Great tribute to all the fallen. Anyone with any sense will remember where they were on that Fateful day when such a senseless act was committed.
Glad to hear Donna is continuing to improve.
    Be Safe and Enjoy!

    It's about time.

  3. Soooo many first responders lost their lives that day..Thanks for sharing..Glad to hear your better half is doing better!!
