Was up at 04:30AM and had coffee with my bride this morning, then she was off to her new digs at that truck company, They moved their office from downtown St Louis to Earth City MO. just across the Mo. River from us in St Louis County. It cuts her commute better than in half.
I hope she has a nice new clean office space compared to the old place.
I had to make a Wally World run and then a stop at the grocery store. I bought another bag of those Hard Rolls I found and some lunch meat. Boy I love a sandwich on a hard roll, something about it that just makes it better. Especially if you make a Ham and Cheese and heat it open face in the oven until the cheese is bubbly them close it and eat it. The Roll is just a little crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, Here I go I am going to make myself hungry just typing about it.
Nicky and I had a nice quiet day here at the Ranch since it was in the middle 90’s again Nicky started an in the house project where she took white card stock and then made designs on it in white glue and the sprinkled different colored sparkles on it. Here is the result.
Nick’s Sparkle Project.
Just had a great skype call from our friends Paul & Helen in Florida, Paul before I forget here is the blog address for Karen & Al, they are in your area down there somewhere.
Looks like we are in for some more 100 degree weather here in Dardenne Prairie, we have had 35 consecutive days of over 95 degree weather and 15 days over 100. I guess this is meant to be a hot summer for us.
That’s about it for today, Donna and I are enjoying a nice supper, Hope all is well with all our friends out there. Be safe. Sam & Donna…….
Maybe Donna can post an entry about her new digs. Half the commute time is great!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Judy...Let's see some photos!
ReplyDeleteMaybe a picture of her new office,,,that would be good!
ReplyDeleteYour sandwich made me hungry too,,,but Ms Pat won't allow mee to have and bread....:-(
You and my hubby. He loves his sandwiches on hard rolls. Ham and Swiss are his favorite. That is great that Donna doesn't have as much of a commute. Getting settled in a new office is a lot of work though.
