Monday Meanderings.

Up at 06:00AM and had coffee, then at 08:30AM Donna and I went to my Doctor’s where I received instruction on injecting myself with insulin, my Doctor decided it was time, I won’t start until we get to Fla just so I won’t have to worry about any reaction while were on the road.

Took my pretty bride to the Pasta House Rest. in O’Fallon last night, what a neat dinner almost romantic, but no violin player.

We will be heading out I-64 and it’s only about 40 minutes to the Illinois border in East St Louis.

Rigg’s is watching each bag go out to the trailer so I know he is ready to go.Each bag gets a sniff of approval. His toys are already in the fiver.

Departure time is almost here, when we get up we will be ready to go,have to dress Rigg’s up in a nice bandanna, so he looks good for his trip, short pants and tee shirt will be uniform of the day. Hopefully for the next month.

  1. Congratulations on 34 years! One suggestion, slow down and smell the roses. It's tough to do but there is some beautiful country between here and there. You are retired now so an extra day or three won't hurt.

  2. Yay!!!! Let's get this show on the road!!!! I am soooo envious..Happy Anniversary to you both!

  3. That is a great picture of you guys. Our girls know something is up with all the putting stuff away we've been doing but they don't get excited they just get nervous. Sure am hoping your weather stays wonderful.
