Thursday Happenings.

Up at 04:30AM, Donna said she was feeling a lot better and decided she would go to work, personally  I don’t think she lets her resistance build back up enough, but we will see.

The highlight of most Thursdays anymore is having the trash dumpster picked up, and emptied, especially when they have to squish before they go to the next one. Nothing like the sound a trash truck makes when it is squishing the trash. to make your day.

Tonight we are in for a treat, of course Donna will miss it since she will be at the restaurant. Samantha is making homemade Enchilada's, boy now that has become one of my favorites. I know I will need at least Dos Cerveza’s to go with that.

That’s about it the food is coming out of the oven. Everyone have a great week. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.

  1. Enjoy your enchilada's and those dos cerveza's. Don't know how Donna keeps going like that. Hope she continues to feel better.

  3. Sure hope you find something more exciting than a garbage truck squishing away pretty soon. :(

  4. Den and I have a Taco salad quite often...Grnd Turkey, fry it , drain it, add Taco seasoning as directed. Put the lettuce on a big plate, dump the seasoned turkey on, tomatoes, onions, shredded cheese, sour cream and taco sauce..Den likes this better than tacos..and it's easier for me.
Glad Donna is feeling better...Sure wish you two could get away again..

  5. Glad Donna feels well enough to go to work, but I agree with you, I think she needs to protect her immune system by getting more rest. My Joe loves enchiladas so have one more for him. Our garbage pick up ritual is on Friday mornings.... first the recycle truck smashing it down, then the garbage truck with it's automatic arms lifting the can, banging it against the truck what ever falls out (not very much) is left behind because it's just the driver and the one arm bandit.

  7. It's amazing how a cold cerveza goes well with anything.

Cheers to Donna - I hope she isn't rushing the recovery.
