Adam got up and still had some red marks and puffiness on his face, so his Dad decided he would stay home one more day and continue with the lotion and Benadryl . Later in the morning I had to make a run for milk, so Adam went along and while we were picking up the milk he said he thought a couple of donuts would make him better faster. Grandpa being the nice guy he is, told him to go ahead and pick a couple out and he could have them when we got home.
All this reminded me of the help he is when Grandma is baking, I’ll show you.
Remember those days.
Sam leaves in the morning for his trip to Panama City Fla. He is Taking a high school group to the Edgewater Resort which as the name implies is right on the gulf of Mexico, hopefully he will have enough free time to enjoy some time at the beach. Not much going on today, it is a rest day while Adam recuperates and Sam rests for the trip. Donna is doing her double shift at the truck company and restaurant. Be safe out there, Sam & Donna.
Glad he's feeling better!

"taking a high school group" Good luck on that one Sam. I used to drive school bus a few years back & never had the patience or tolerance for high school kids. Got a big kick out of the public school kids though. The high school kids were too full of attitude & bad language!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun Sam... it's HOT down there! Mom was complaining it was 95 by them in Florida and she can't wait to leave on Mon or Tues and head up here to Michigan and Wisconsin.
ReplyDeleteWe have our grandson over too this weekend, and now he has a cough and runny nose. Poor guy! We were gonna go out to play today in the newly fallen snow, but now I guess not. It will melt before he feels better.
