Thursday Happenings.

Here it is Thursday and that means one more  day and it will be Friday and all three Grandkids will be here after school for the weekend, I always look forward to the noise and sounds of kids having fun, at least in that respect I am no curmudgeon, My wife explains it off by saying we're all the same age. but I can remember my own Grandfather was the same way, maybe he never grew up either, one of his pet peeves when he got older was how people his age must have forgotten there own childhoods and now expected kid's to act like grown ups.
Hopefully it will warm up, and we can make the Bald Eagle search we have had to put off for the last two weekends due to bad roads. We can't wait to long as they start leaving to go back north at the end of February and the beginning of March, by the end of March there won't be an eagle to be found until next fall at the end of Oct. when they return. Luckily most will return to their old nesting grounds so the cycle will start over.
Donna has the truck company and the restaurant today, My son Andy is keeping busy repainting, and having new carpet put in his bedroom so the house has furniture moved into every room,(Kitchen, Dining room and Adam's bedroom) from his room so it is bare, he finished all the spackle and plaster work and has put the primer coat on and did the finish ceiling coat, tonight he is putting the finish wall coats on, and then tomorrow the carpet is to be delivered.
Maybe by the weekend the house will return to normal.
I had to make a run to Lowe's with him to get paint & supplies since I own the house I told him we would pay for the supplies and he could supply the labor.
It will be one less room to do before we sell the house. Although Andy is now asking about as soon as he gets fulltime employment he would like a chance at buying the house, Maybe There ware wedding bells in our future. Who knows, anyway we aren't in a hurry until we figure out how we can get health insurance for when we are fulltime.
Not much else going on in Dardenne Prairie the snow hasn't started melt yet but it got up to 30 today and with the temperature going up more in the next few days we might get rid of some of it.
Be safe out there. Sam & Donna.
