We awoke to cloudy skies and rain, we had breakfast planned for 07:30AM and Donna whipped up a great spread. Our guests, Len & Phyllis came in about 07:15AM and we had coffee and then the breakfast was ready.
Saturday Morning breakfast, Sam, Donna, Phyllis & Len…
After we finished eating we sat around and gabbed for awhile and then Len & Phyllis went to the fiver to do some stuff, since they are flying out at 07:00am in the morning. If it stops raining we are planning on some sightseeing down in Old town St Charles, and then tonight Dinner out, Donna is off again at the restaurant.
This afternoon we took a drive and stopped at the Model railroad Club so Len & Phyllis could see it, Adam of course ran a train for us to watch as it sped through the towns and farmlands.
Adam running his train for Phyllis.
Santa Fe is by the Quarry.
We then drove down to Old Town St Charles which is a restored shopping area along the Missouri Riverfront. It was pouring rain so we stayed in the truck and mad it a car tour.
Tonight we will be going out to dinner and then Len & Phyllis will have to hit the hay early as coffee is scheduled for 04:30AM and then they will be leaving for the airport to catch their plane to New Jersey at 05:00AM.
Donna and I will be taking care of their cat Lucky while they are gone.
That’s about it for today, everyone be safe out there. Sam & Donna….

BTW, Lucky stays in the fiver. Afraid he would get too attached to Riggs and refuse to leave next week.
Always nice to meet our blogger friends. Sounds like you are having a great time with them. I am sure they are happy to be able to leave the 5er at your place and know that Lucky is going to be well cared for.ReplyDelete
