Monday Meanderings.

Today turned out to be a nice sunny day with temps in the mid 60’s, Donna went out to the truck company and I spent some time inventorying my train collection for disposal.

Went down and checked on Lucky he is doing just fine, he sure  loves attention when ether Donna or I go down there he wants to play and be held and almost acts like the dogs I am used to. all in all a neat cat .Only thing is he is not to vocal, a few little purrs when he gets his tummy rubs.

Donna called me in the living room and said look at this, in front of the house in the flower  bed next to the front entrance was the feral cat lying and snoozing in the sun, this is the first I have ever seen it in the front of the house and that is the closest it’s gotten to a human abode. I now wonder if Lucky is calling or crying and that cat heard it.

Anyway Donna took a couple more pictures of Lucky today, He is eating and drinking and appears to be doing just fine, don’t now where he has hidden his toys though, but he hates to see you leave.

I’ll just lay here while you clean out my litter box.

                       Oh Please don’t leave..

Since neither of us are cat owners we think that Lucky is really an exceptionally social animal and just loves getting attention from people who care for her.

That’s about it for today, Everyone be safe out there. Sam & Donna…

  1. Dennis and I differ on cats..He thinks that a flat cat would make a great Frisbee...I LOVE them..Why do I love them?? Because they are cunning, cagey, ornery, sneaky and unpredictable..My kind of pet...and..did you ever notice that you can't call a cat by using his name..You gotta go "Here kitty, kitty, kitty."...They have it planned that way...then they turn their back and ignore you..

  2. I enjoy your posts so much! Lucky is a very pretty cat - gorgeous eyes.

Sorry the weather was uncooperative when you took your friends to St. Charles. Most of my sight seeing was through the car windows, too, because I was there for a workshop. I'm still chipping away at my MO photos!
