TGIF

A very short post today, Nicoles  Father lost his first wife to a disease, since Nicole and Samantha knew her he requested they attend her funeral, Nicole is 8 years old but is pretty sharp for eight and knows what is going on so I said I thought she could handle it. I based this on the fact that my son Andy was 8 years old when in sight of two weeks both his Grandmothers died, He did not and still doesn’t handle death well. But Nicole  seems much more astute at her eight. I hope Samantha made the right decision in going with her to the funeral.

Anyway it’s been a slow day here at the ranch sunny nice and just a lazy day. I just felt lazy so I decided to take the day off, Tomorrow is Saturday so I will catch up then.

One picture today, Rigg’s after Donna got up that he needed all the comforts afforded his Mom so look who took over her pillow this morning, normally he naps at the bottom of the bed.

That’s about it for today Everyone be safe out there. Sam & Donna…

  2. I used to have a black lab that slept on my bed and black dog hair was everywhere! I said "never again" will I let a dog on my bed. Lady sheds so badly I'm glad she never wanted to jump up.

  3. It's tough to know what to do with kids and funerals. It's up to the adults to prepare them for what they are going to see and feel.

  5. I grew up in a cemetery, and you would think I'd have a better insight into death...but I still find it very hard to comprehend...And how kids may handle totally depends on the individual...for sure. We are sorry for their loss.

  6. Oh Riggs, you are such a funny boy! I'm sure your momma Donna won't mind one little bit. How could anyone not love Riggs! He does seem somewhat spoiled though.
