Not an unusual day, up at 04:30am had our morning coffee and conversation, then Donna was off to the truck company, and then Andy was out the door to work. Did some computer work, ran to the train store to get a couple of magazines, Then about 3:00PM I headed west on I-70 to Warrenton MO. to pick up Adam for his vacation adventure, which , have I mentioned, starts Saturday morning. He is already making plans, tomorrow we will make a list and get the grocery provisions in the trailer, also take the propane tanks to be topped off. I stopped on the way back from Adam’s and topped off the truck since fuel was $2.71 gal for diesel, didn’t want to take a chance on it jumping up for the weekend. Like they do around here.
Tomight Donna works at the restaurant so we will see her later.
Not much else going on the planning and waiting continues for the trip. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna..
That's a good price for diesel. Around here (southern Washington state) the price is around $3.12. We use gas, not diesel, and it's been running around $2.89 at the cheapest. It costs less across the river in Oregon because we have very high gas taxes here.
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you can prepare for your vacation a little bit each day. It helps build the excitement and takes the pressure off of doing it all at once.
The excitement is building!!! :)
